About Nicholas Ferguson

I'm a Licensed Independent Adjuster based in the Tampa Bay area, serving Florida and Texas. My approach to claims work is straightforward: document thoroughly, communicate clearly, and deliver complete files on time.
Every inspection I conduct follows the same standard — whether it's a daily water loss or a CAT deployment after a named storm. I believe the quality of a claim file matters as much as the speed of its delivery. Clean documentation protects everyone involved: the carrier, the insured, the firm, and the adjuster.
I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science from St. Petersburg College and am Xactimate Level 1 Certified. I'm a 2026 member of WIND (Windstorm Insurance Network), and I stay current on industry standards, estimating practices, and regulatory requirements in both FL and TX.
When I take an assignment, you can expect:
- •A thorough, well-documented inspection
- •An Xactimate estimate that meets program standards
- •Timely delivery and direct communication throughout
- •A complete file package ready for review
I'm available for both CAT deployments and daily claims assignments. If you're looking for a reliable adjuster who takes documentation seriously, I'd welcome the opportunity to connect.
Values
These values guide how I approach every assignment. They are not marketing claims — they are working standards.
Documentation
Every file should be able to stand on its own. Photos, measurements, narratives, and estimates are prepared as if the file will be reviewed by someone who wasn't at the inspection.
Clarity
Communication should be direct and unambiguous. Status updates, questions, and findings are communicated plainly — no jargon for its own sake.
Responsiveness
Assignments are acknowledged promptly. Questions get answered. Deadlines are respected. If something changes, I communicate early.
Sound Judgment
Adjusting requires making calls in the field. I approach every decision with care, applying training and standards rather than shortcuts.
